fall and winter knitting inpiration

1. hand knit socks

I have never been a big sock knitter, but it's something I'd really like to try more of. Using double pointed needles can be annoying and unweildly but I guess that's just the name of the game. I tried using the magic loop method and found that equally annoying and unweildly. I would like to get some proper sock blocking molds to make my finished pieces look more nice and professional. I typically use the sock pattern by Jenny Gordy in the book Made by Hand, but I'm open to expanding and trying some different ones too.

2. baby stuff

My good friend just had a baby and I am overcome with the desire to knit tiny things for the baby! There are SO many cute baby knitting patterns.

3. cable knit fisherman sweater

I know this is a massive undertaking, but I have yet to find one that is the level of boxyness that I desire.

4. cardigan

I think I'm going to knit the My Favourite Things cardigan pattern in an oatmeal color. It seems like a great wardrobe staple to have.

5. bonnet/knit bandana

I keep seeing these on Pinterest and I think they're extremely cute! I love a babushka moment with a chin tie.

7. balaclava

8. brioche stitch sweater

I'd like to knit the Emerson pullover sweater. It looks like a nice cozy and classic sweater design

9. rib knit sweater
